راولپنڈی (ایف این این آئی )اساتذہ کے عالمی دن کے حوالے سے راولپنڈی آرٹس کونسل میں ایک پُروقارتقریب کا انعقادہوا۔ تقریب سے ڈائریکٹرکالجزملک اصغر،ڈاکٹرسائرہ مفتی،چیئرمین جناح اقبال فکری فورم رانا عبدالباقی، کوکب اقبال ایڈوکیٹ،پیرعظمت سلطان، شیخ مختار،مقصودراہی،ڈاکڑزاہدچغتائی اورنعیم قریشی نے خطاب کیا اوراساتذہ کوخراجِ تحسین پیش کیا۔مقررین کا کہنا تھا کہ استادکومقام بہت بلندہے کیونکہ ہمارے نبیؐ پاک نے خودکومعلم کہلوایا۔سیمینارمیں اساتذہ کے علاوہ بچوں نے بھی بھرپورشرکت کی۔

اسلام آباد (ایف این این آئی) بیلاروس کی بڑی کمپنیوں کے ایک وفد نے بیلاروس چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے چیئرمین ولادیمر اولاخو ویچ کی قیادت میں اسلام آباد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کا دورہ کیا اور پاکستان کے نجی شعبے کے ساتھ کاروباری تعاون کو فروغ دینے کے امور پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ وفد میں توانائی، ٹیکسٹائل، آٹوموبائل، لاجیسٹک، زرعی و صنعتی مشینری، کیمکلز اور پیٹرو کیمکلز، تیل و گیس اور کلاتھ و فٹ ویئر تیار کرنے والی کمپنیوں کے نمائندگان شامل تھے۔

اس موقع پر اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے بیلاروس چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے چیئرمین ولادیمر اولاخو ویچ نے کہا کہ بیلاروس اعلیٰ ٹیکنالوجی والا ملک ہے اور پاکستان بیلاوس کے ساتھ مضبوط اقتصادی تعلقات قائم کر کے اپنی معیشت کیلئے متعدد فوائد حاصل کر سکتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور بیلاروس کے مابین سیاسی سطح پر انتہائی شاندار تعلقات قائم ہیں یہی وجہ ہے کہ بیلاروس کے صدر بھی اس موقع پر پاکستان کا دورہ کر رہے ہیں۔ تاہم انہوں نے کہا ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ عمدہ سیاسی تعلقات کو دونوں ممالک کے مابین مضبوط تجارتی و اقتصادی تعلقات میں تبدیل کیا جائے جس سے دونوں کیلئے زیادہ فائدہ مند نتائج برآمد ہوں گے۔ اس موقع ہیوی ڈیوٹی گاڑیوں، ٹرکوں، ٹریکٹرز اور زرعی مشینری سمیت بیلاروس کی متعدد مصنوعات کے بارے میں ویڈیو پریزنٹیشنز بھی دی گئیں جن کو بہت سراہا گیا۔
اپنے استقبالیہ خطاب میں اسلام آباد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے صدر خالد اقبال ملک نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور بیلاروس نے 1960میں ٹریکٹرز کی درآمد اور اسمبلی کیلئے باہمی تعاون کا آغاز کیا تھا لیکن دونوں کی باہمی تجارت ابھی تک ان کی اصل صلاحیت سے بہت کم ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان ایک زرعی ملک ہے اور اس میں بیلاروس کی زرعی مشینری سمیت دیگر مصنوعات کی عمدہ مانگ پائی جاتی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری منصوبے کی وجہ سے بھی بیلاروس کے سرمایہ کاروں کیلئے پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کے عمدہ مواقع موجود ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور بیلاروس کے درمیان توانائی، آٹوموبائل، صنعتی مشینری، فارماسوٹیکلز، ٹیکنالوجی کی منتقلی، سٹیل، فرنیچراور صحت و تعلیم سمیت دیگر شعبوں بھی میں تعاون کو فروغ دینے کی عمدہ صلاحیت موجود ہے لہذا دونوں ممالک تجارتی تعلقات کو بہتر کرنے کیلئے نجی شعبوں کے ساتھ خصوصی تعاون کریں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان جنوبی ایشیا کی دوسری سب سے بڑی اور کاروبار کیلئے ایک پرکشش مارکیٹ ہے لہذا بیلاروس کے سرمایہ کار پاکستان میں ہیوی ڈیوٹی گاڑیاں، بسیں ڈمپر ٹرک، کرینز، صنعتی مشینری اور دیگر اعلیٰ ٹیکنالوجی کی مصنوعات تیار کرنے کیلئے اپنے صنعتی یونٹس لگانے پر توجہ دیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بیلاروس فرٹیلائزر اور کیمکلز کے شعبے میں بھی کافی ایڈوانس ہے لہذا وہ اس شعبے میں اپنی ٹیکنالوجی اور مہارت پاکستان کے ساتھ شیئر کرے تا کہ پاکستان میں ان شعبوں کی پیداوار مزید بہتر ہو۔
خالد اقبال ملک نے نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور بیلاروس ٹیرف اور نان ٹیرف رکاوٹوں کو دور کرنے پرتوجہ دیں جس سے باہمی تجارت کو بہتر فروغ ملے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دونوں ممالک براہ راست بینک روابط قائم کرنے کی کوشش کریں کیونکہ بینکنگ چینلز کی عدم دستیابی باہمی تجارت کی راہ میں ایک اہم رکاوٹ ہے۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ پاکستان اور بیلاروس باقاعدگی سے تجارتی وفود کا تبادلہ کرنے پر توجہ دیں جو باہمی تجارتی تعاون کو فروغ دینے کا سب سے بہترذریعہ ہے۔

Belarusian companies visit ICCI to explore development of business cooperation – Fnni.org

Islamabad (FNNI) A delegation of Belarusian big companies led by Mr. Vladimir Ulakhovich, Chairman, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore development of business and economic cooperation with Pakistan The delegation represented various sectors including energy, textiles, automobile, logistics, agriculture & industrial machinery, chemical and petrochemicals industry, oil & gas and clothing & footwear industry.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Vladimir Ulakhovich, Chairman, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that Belarus was technologically advanced country and Pakistan could reap many benefits for its economy by improving economic relations with it. He said both countries enjoyed very good relations at political level and President of Belarus is coming to Pakistan to further improve bilateral relations. He said Belarusian businessmen wanted to transform these good political relations into growing trade and economic relations with Pakistan.

In his welcome address, Khalid Iqbal Malik, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that Pakistan and Belarus had started cooperation in 1960s for the import and assembly of Belarusian tractors in Pakistan. However, bilateral trade was still far below the actual potential and both countries should give enhanced role to private sectors for improving two-way trade. He said Pakistan was an agricultural country and there was great scope for Belarusian agriculture machinery in Pakistan. He said both countries have good potential to promote cooperation in many areas including energy, automobile, industrial machinery, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, technology transfer, investment, forestry, steel, furniture, health and education sectors. He stressed that Pakistan and Belarus should become strategic partners in production of value-added exported-oriented products to achieve beneficial results for their economies.

He said removal of tariff and non-tariff barriers was essential for trade facilitation. He emphasized that both countries should establish direct banking links to facilitate trade as absence of banking channels was a major trade barrier. He said regular exchange of trade delegations was the best means to identify new areas of mutual cooperation.

He said Pakistan was the second largest market of South Asia and invited Belarusian investors to set up industrial plants in Pakistan to produce all kinds of heavy vehicles, buses, dumper trucks, cranes, agricultural machinery and other high technology solutions. He said Belarus was quite strong in fertilizers and chemicals fields and it should share its technology and expertise with Pakistan to improve productivity of these sectors.

Fire Magazine team visits ICCI to discuss mutual cooperation

Islamabad (Bureau Report) A team of Fire Magazine and Fire Online TV
led by Nasir Habib, Chief Editor visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce
& Industry and discussed possibilities for enhancing cooperation
between the two organizations to highlight the key issues of business
community. Ms. Fam Nasir Managing Editor, Ms. Shanzey Mannaf Editor and
Mr. Danial Ahmed Director of Fire Magazine were included in the team.

Atif Ikram Sheikh President, Sheikh Pervez Ahmed Senior Vice
President and Sheikh Abdul Waheed Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of
Commerce and Industry briefed the Fire Magazine team about the role of
ICCI and important initiatives taken during their tenure for resolving
the problems and promoting the interests of local business community.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation to
highlight the key issues in print and electronic media being faced by
the businesses in Pakistan.

Nasir Habib, Chief Editor, Fire Magazine and Fire Online TV
appreciated the role of ICCI in serving the cause of trade and industry.
He said print & electronic media play very significant role in
bringing the key issues into the notice of the government for remedial
measures and added that close liaison between trade bodies and media
would yield benefits results for the business activities.

At this occasion, Atif Ikram Sheikh, President ICCI presented souvenir of Chamber to the Chief Editor of Fire Magazine.
